Seasons 52

Seasons 52 is one of the newest, trendiest restaurants in Miami, FL. It is located on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables. This area is historic and full of beautiful, delicious, and popular bars and restaurants.

This restaurant is a fresh grill and wine bar that offers seasonally-inspired menus.

In addition, they are “healthy-living friendly” because every item on their menu is 475 calories or less. The dining room decor is warm and inviting with dark woods and beautiful lighting and accessories. Reservations are available online and they are able to accommodate small or large groups.

To start we ordered the garlic chicken flatbread with red onions, roasted red peppers and mozzarella cheese. Then we shared an organic baby spinach salad with raspberries, toasted pine nuts and crumbled Gorgonzola cheese. For the entree, my husband ordered the caramelized sea scallops with asparagus and pearl pasta. I ordered the rainbow trout with roasted potatoes and vegetables.

My husband and friends could not resist and ordered several mini indulgences and coffee.

The meal was outstanding and the restaurant and service impeccable.

I recommend Seasons 52 wholeheartedly. Drop in and enjoy it yourself!

Best Smoothies in Miami @ Norman Brothers Produce

Norman Brothers Produce - Miami Organic and Local Produce StoreBest Smoothies in Miami @ Norman Brothers Produce

For all you Gourmet-loving-health-foodies out there, Norman Brothers Produce (located at 7621 S.W. 87th Ave.) in Miami, Florida right off of the 874 highway has a secret:  smoothies!

A friend of ours shared with us this secret and we go at least once a month to savor the 100 or so combinations of real-fruit smoothies.  The majority of the time we opt for a Chocolate smoothie (without any fruit), but that's OK as it's worth every calorie.

Norman Brothers ProduceUp against a residential neighborhood and office buildings, Norman Brothers has been an alternative option to the main supermarkets in town like Winn Dixie, Publix, and Sedanos.  Always stocked with the freshest produce and promoting local farmers, you feel like a real chef as soon as you walk through the door.  It's not too small and not too big and although under air conditioning, it feels like your in an outdoor market in the middle of Europe.  Alright, you need to close your eyes to feel that, but you know what I mean.

Check out their web site for the latest daily menus and news about new products and services!  Also, don't forget about the smoothies. They are worth the trip alone!
