NBA Champions Alonzo Mourning and Dwyane Wade are hosting the annual Summer Groove.
The Groove is a five-day fundraising event that consists of: golf, comedy, concert, benefit dinner, youth summit, youth basketball clinic and sports conference, a free block party, an all-star basketball game and numerous exclusive functions It will be held in Miami, from July 14-18, 2010. Now in its 14th year, The Groove has raised more than $7 million for local South Florida programs and initiatives supported by Alonzo Mourning Charities and Wade’s World Foundation.

Hundreds of kids will have the opportunity to learn basketball fundamentals, participate in numerous interactive activities and hear key messages about discipline and perseverance that can be applied to all aspects of life.
