Hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July. My family and I spent the weekend in Key Biscayne with friends. We enjoyed the annual parade, and spent most of the weekend celebrating and relaxing.
Thanks to all who came before us who made this holiday possible.
We sat on the beach in the dark and watched the fireworks that were set off from a barge just feet away on the ocean, while singing patriotic songs. The evening made a pleasant impression on me. Even though my favorite beach is Miami Beach, I hope to make a tradition of attending the fireworks display on Key Biscayne for years to come.
