Hurricane season officially began on June 1, so the time to get prepared is now -- and the County can help! The 2011 Hurricane Guide is now available. The information in this guide is designed to:- Help a loved one with special needs pre-register for Miami-Dade's Emergency Evacuation Assistance Program.
- Sign-up your pet to gain access to one of Miami-Dade Pet Friendly Evacuation Centers.
- Properly prune your trees to minimize tree and property damage.
- Get a Kit, Make a Plan, Be Informed.
